Sheep in the Land of Fire and Ice Q&A

Sheep grazing is an important activity in many regions of the world. Iceland provides an example of how these practices, despite being a traditional and cultural activity, can in some cases lead to environmental degradation. The short open online course Sheep in the Land of Fire and Ice (https://sheepfireice.org/join-the-course/) provides an overview of the cultural, historical and economic relevance of sheep grazing in Iceland. The course is free for anyone to take, and you can take it at your own pace. This session is a Q&A for students who have taken the course or parts of it, where the instructors will discuss with students their questions.

This GUEST WEBINAR will be conducted by Dr. Isabel C Barrio from The Agricultural University of Iceland | LBHI · Department of Environmental Sciences
