France - Workshop
The EDU-ARCTIC team had the pleasure to invite teachers from schools registered on the portal to submit their application for participation in one of the three Educators’ Fora. This workshop was dedicated to teachers from western and southern Europe (Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Vatican City).
We aimed to familiarize teachers with the philosophy and functioning of the EDU-ARCTIC program. We offered training as to Arctic knowledge and the use of the project portal. We were looking forward to receive feedback from educators about what improvements could be made or which areas might still have to be covered. Also, we wanted to promote the program through the Forum’s participants acting as EDU-ARCTIC ambassadors in their countries.
