Tsunami risk in the North Atlantic Ocean
A tsunami is a rare geohazard, but all areas by a coast can be affected by a tsunami triggered by earth quakes, volcanic eruptions or perhaps landslides.
What is a tsunami and what causes a tsunami to happen? How can we be more safe with these natural hazards?
The lesson will end with a KAHOOT quiz where you can join with a mobile device such as a computer or smart phone with internet access.
I recommend to prepare for the lesson by looking up following polarpedia words: Tsunami and Tsunami Warning Systems.
