Contemporary Inuit Societies

Today, the Arctic is home to 150.000 Inuit who live for most of them in Alaska, Canada and Greenland. I will present these three different groups and their present living conditions, with a special focus on the modern way of life of young people. We will answer the equally exciting question: How do the Inuit adapt to the new challenges of our time such as climate change, pollution, social and culture change, desire for independence in a globalized world?
